|A Bridge Between US and China in Radiation Oncology|

On behalf of the Sino-American Network for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (SANTRO), we are pleased to invite you to the 2013 CSTRO/SANTRO joint symposium and meeting, which will be held in Chengdu, Si Chuan Province, China, on Nov 22-24, 2013. The SANTRO School of Radiation Oncology will also be held at the Symposium, focusing on the topics of target delineation, treatment planning (3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT) and quality assurance for thoracic, head/neck and GI cancers. In addition, there will be a dedicated session for clinical trial design, credentialing process and related quality assurance.
The conference will feature speakers from both the US and China and proffered presentations selected from submitted abstracts (Abstract submission dealine: Oct. 20, 2013).
The field of Radiation Oncology in China has been rapidly developing in recent years as the country is experiencing a rapid economic growth. The CSTRO/SANTRO symposium will provide a unique opportunity for radiation oncology professionals both in China and United States to share knowledge, while creating a forum to address special educational needs and cultivate international clinical trial collaborations. The meeting will bring together world class faculty to discuss the most current advances in Radiation Oncology including issues related to clinical practice, clinical trials, translational research, and quality management of modern radiation therapy.
Chengdu is a city of long history and rich cultures. The city exhibits a dynamic combination of the past glories with modern prosperities.
